InfoPuls (“InfoPuls”, “We”, “Us”, “Our”) and any and all parent, subsidiary or associate company of InfoPuls recognize the importance of privacy. 

InfoPuls will manage your personal information collected through the InfoPuls websites (www.infopuls.net) and the mobile application InfoPuls (collectively “Application”) based on InfoPuls belief of respect for the individual and in accordance with this Privacy Policy. 

BY USING THE APPLICATION’S FUNCTIONNALTIES IN ANY WAY, INCLUDING NAMELY REGISTERING FOR OR USING ANY OF THE SERVICES PROVIDED THROUGH THE APPLICATION, YOU AGREE TO THE InfoPuls PRIVACY POLICY (“Privacy Policy”). 

If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not provide personal data and please do not use the Application. 


How We Collect and Use Personal Data 

We collect personal data about you in order to provide the services the Application offers and for which you sign-up. We try to limit the personal data collected as much as possible to that which is necessary to support the intended purposes of collection (i.e. the functioning of the Application). 

1.1 Personal Data 

We collect the following categories of personal data from you when you interact with the Application, and when you register and create a user account. 

We may collect technical information such as your IP address, the address of a referring website or application, the type of web browser or mobile device you use, your operating system, your Internet Service Provider and the path you take through the Application. When you purchase services, we collect information about the transaction, such as services details and the date of the purchase/return. 


The following elements of personal data are collected when registering and updated at periodic intervals (as the case may be): 

  • Your full name; 
  • E-mail address

1.2 Use of Personal Data 

You may fill in your contact information and professional history when registering for the Application and creating a user account. Only your name, picture, job description and location are available to other users of the Application. You may choose upon every connection you make, whether or not to share your telephone number and/or e-mail address. 

The personal data collected will only be used to allow the Application to work correctly, to allow us to provide our services and to evaluate the use of the Application. In this respect, the legal bases to data processing are article 6.1 (a), (b), and (f) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This means that personal data are processed on the basis of your consent, in order to carry-out a contract with you (i.e. providing the services of the Application), and on the basis of InfoPuls’s legitimate interest, which is to improve the functioning of the Application for its users. 

Furthermore, please remember you can always update and edit your information through the Application at your choosing. To do so, simply consult your profile under your user account and edit the information. 


Cookies and Web Beacons 

Cookies are small data files stored on the hard disk of the users’ computer. We use cookies to enhance web browsing and to optimize your visit. In this respect, cookies are used to offer easier surfing on the Application, to make login easier, for internal security purposes, and system administration to tailor advertisements to your preferences. 

In addition to cookies which send information to us, we also use cookies which collect information and send it to third parties working on our behalf. An example of this is Google Analytics. 

Some of our cookies may collect and store your personal information, such as your name or email address. By using this Application, you agree to the placement of cookies on your computer and to InfoPuls’s access to cookies in accordance with the terms herein. If you do not wish to accept cookies from the Application please either disable cookies or refrain from using the Application. 

We may also use web beacons. Web beacons allow us to understand if a certain page of the Application was visited or if an email was opened or if advertising banners on other Applications were effective. 

Most web browsers are set to accept cookies by default. If you prefer, you can set your browser to remove or reject cookies, but note that doing so does not necessarily affect third party flash cookies used in conjunction with our Application. Please note that if you choose to remove or reject cookies, this could affect the availability and functionality of the Application and you may not be able to access or use some or all areas and functionalities of the Application. 


How We Store Your Information 

The personal data will be stored as long as you continue to use the Application. Should the Application remain inactive for 2 years or upon Your request, we will terminate the user account. 

Thereafter, we will archive any data on previous use of the Application for a period of 10 years. This data is kept only for evidentiary purposes and will not be used for any other purpose. 

Please note, that You can deactivate any location data as you are using the Application, such location data will not be stored, but only maintained as necessary to provide services through the Application and then immediately erased. 


Advertising and Analytics Services 

We engage third parties to serve advertisements on our behalf across the Internet and to provide analytics services about the performance of those advertisements. These entities may use cookies, web beacons and other technologies to collect information about your use of our Application and other Applications, such as your IP address, web browser, pages viewed, time spent on pages, date and time of each visitor request, referring site, browser type, language preference, links clicked and conversion information. The information may be used by us and others to, among other things, analyse and track data, determine the popularity of certain content, deliver advertising and content targeted to your interests on our Application and other Applications and better understand your online activity. We may also work with third parties to serve ads to you as part of a customized campaign on other Applications or platforms.

In addition, many web browsers support Do Not Track technology. Our systems do not respond to Do Not Track signals. Nonetheless, if you enable Do Not Track and it is recognized by our systems, InfoPuls will not use information about your web viewing activities to tailor your online experience on the Application. Note, however, that our third-party advertising providers may continue to use information about your web viewing activities to tailor advertising to your interests across different Applications even when you have Do Not Track enabled in your browser. With Whom We Share Data 

InfoPuls does not sell or rent your personal data to any third parties whatsoever. We will only disclose your personal information with your prior consent, as provided in this Privacy Policy, or as required by law. 

Through the services provided by the Application certain elements of your personal data are shared with other users of the Application. The personal data of your public profile are immediately available to all users and your direct contact details are only shared with other users with your consent. 

We may disclose personal data with third party affiliates and service providers that process the data on our behalf. When doing so, we ensure that Your personal data is safeguarded and your rights respected. Examples are shipping companies, vendors, payment companies, credit card processors and other payment service providers such as PayPal, financial institution partners, hosting and maintenance providers, data storage and management providers, marketing and promotional providers, service providers sending emails and sms notifications. 

We may transfer any information we have about you in connection with a merger or sale (including transfers made as part of insolvency or bankruptcy proceedings) involving all or part of InfoPuls or as part of a corporate reorganization or other change in corporate control. 

We may further disclose your information to third-parties in other special circumstances, namely (a) to enforce the Terms of Use; (b) to respond to claims that any content violates the rights of third parties; (c) to protect the safety, property, or other rights of InfoPuls, InfoPuls customers, associates, or any other person; or (d) where otherwise required by law. Examples include protecting the health or safety of customers, or addressing crimes committed on the Application. InfoPuls may provide your personal data in response to a search warrant, subpoena or other legally valid inquiry or order, or as otherwise required by applicable law. 


International Transfers 

Your personal data may be transferred outside of the EEA. 

In doing so, we ensure the adequate protection of your personal data through the use of standard data protection clauses adopted by the Commission. 


Your Rights 

As data subject you have a number of rights with respect to your personal data. 

You have the right to access your personal data and have any inaccurate or incomplete data rectified and/or completed. Under certain conditions, you have the right to have your personal data erased, obtain the restriction of data processing and/or object to it all together. 

You can withdraw your consent to share information with other users at any time, consequently, that data will be blocked to any future use/consultation by the other user. However, this will not however affect the lawfulness of previous activities carried-out on the basis of your consent (i.e. initial sharing of the information). 

Furthermore, as data subject you can request to receive your personal data in a readable format that can be easily transmitted to a third-party controller.

How We Secure Your Information 

Securing your information is important to InfoPuls. We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect the confidentiality and security of information transmitted to us. In this respect, we encrypt data during transmission and communication between users. 

However, no data transmission over the Internet or other network can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, while we strive to protect information transmitted on or through the Application, we cannot and do not guarantee the security of any information you transmit on or through the Application, and you do so at your own risk. 

InfoPuls accounts require a username and password to log in. You must keep your username and password secure, and never disclose it to a third party. Because the information in your is sensitive, account passwords are encrypted, which means we can’t see your passwords. We can’t resend forgotten passwords either. We’ll only reset them. 


Privacy of Children Online 

We are committed to protecting children's online privacy. In order to protect the privacy of children, InfoPuls does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 18. In this regard, we request that You declare that you are over 18 years of age when registering for an user account.

If we become aware that we have inadvertently received personal information from a child under the age of 18, we will delete such information from our records. 


LIMITATION OF LIABILITY 

EXCEPT WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW, UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL InfoPuls BE LIABLE FOR DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES (EVEN IF InfoPuls HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES), RESULTING FROM ANY ASPECT OF A THIRD PARTY’S (INCLUDING ANOTHER USER’S) USE OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA, NOR FOR InfoPuls’ USE OF A THIRD-PARTY’S PERSONAL DATA THAT YOU MAY PROVIDE. THESE LIMITATIONS SHALL APPLY TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. In some jurisdictions, some of the foregoing limitations may not apply. 


Links To Other Applications 

Our Application may contain links to other applications or websites. A link to a third party's application or website does not mean that we endorse it or that we are affiliated with them. We do not exercise control over third-party applications or websites. You access such third-party applications or content at your own risk. You should always read the privacy policy of a third-party application before providing any information to the application. 


Changes to this Privacy Policy 

InfoPuls may change the Privacy Policy from time to time. We will inform you by posting the revised Privacy Policy on the Application. Please check our Privacy Policy periodically for changes. We will post the date the Privacy Policy was last updated at the top of the Privacy Policy. The changes will go into effect on the “Last Updated” date shown in the revised Privacy Policy. By continuing to use the Application, you consent to the revised Privacy Policy.
